Frost and Ice

​The weather has been so cold and frosty but it hasn’t stopped the children from going outside to have fun and explore the ice. They found ice on the grass, on a bench and on the trees and leaves. The children made an Ice World with the animals and we talked about what ice is and how ice melts. We placed pots of ice in different parts of the Pre-School room and guessed which one would melt the quickest. The ice on the windowsill came first and the ice in the freezer came last!
